Before You Grow, A Reality Check

Perfect harvest photos usually come after dozens of imperfect trays and months of learning.

Fallen towers and wind

Anchor vertical towers on balconies and rooftops; a loaded column can weigh 20–40 kg.

Mold on microgreens

Usually too much water, dense seeding, or weak airflow — not a broken setup.

Uneven germination

Normal in early grows; improve seed-to-medium contact and keep a grow log.

Power cuts

Pumps stop circulating nutrients; a small UPS or hand-watering buys time in heat.

Nutrient deficiencies

Check pH before adding more fertilizer — lockout happens outside 5.5–6.5.

Failed experiments

Notes from a tray that failed are more valuable than a lucky success you cannot repeat.
